Country Bookshelf Additional Products and Services

Special Orders

We can special order a wide variety of both new, used, and hard-to-find books.  Call, email, or stop in to place your order.

Order Online

Although the website is not set-up for e-commerce, you can always order books at any hour of the day or night via email at countrybookshelf@gmail.com. In your order request, be sure to include

1. the book information,
2. quantity,
3. your name
4. a phone number where you can be reached
5. any preferences for billing, pick up, or shipment.

Depending on your preferences and instructions, we will order the book(s) and call you when they arrive at the store (this is the default method), or contact you for billing information over the phone and send the books to your doorstep. Many books arrive within 2-4 days of your order.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are available in any amount.  You can also order these over the phone and have them mailed or waiting behind the counter for the recipient.

Gift Wrapping

Complimentary seasonal gift wrapping service makes the Country Bookshelf a one-stop gift-giving center.  Purchase a book (or gift certificate), a card, and then have your gift wrapped and even shipped. 

Shipping

Have your purchases shipped from our store or directly from our warehouse to your home or to your friends and family.

Book Clubs

Local book clubs can place special bulk orders (no number is too small) in advance, and we will stock your book club’s pick on our Book Club Shelf (just past New Literature).

IndieBound

Country Bookshelf is a member of the American Bookseller’s Association and their initiative to support independent bookstores, IndieBound (formerly known as BookSense).  Near the counter at the front of the store, you can pick up the free pamphlet every month with recommendations from independent booksellers around the country.

Email Newsletter

To receive the latest information on what’s happening at the Country Bookshelf, please sign up for our email newsletter by sending a “Join Newsletter” email to countrybookshelf@gmail.com.  You’ll then receive periodic emails with event, new book, and other book world information.  We plan to send these a couple times a month and no more than once a week.

If you have already or plan to sign up for our e-newsletter, make sure that countrybookshelf@gmail.com is added to your address book.  Otherwise, it is possible that our emails will be rejected by your spam filter.  If you believe that you have signed up, but have not received any emails from us, this could be the problem.  Add us to your address book and then send us an email requesting to be put back on the list.

We have a wide variety of blank books suitable for journals and sketchbooks, including the ever popular Moleskines. 

Magazines

We carry the Big Sky Journal, Big Sky Journal Home, the Montana Quarterly, and Montana Magazine.

We accept cash, local checks, traveler’s checks, Bozeman Downtown Dollars, Country Bookshelf gift certificates, and all major credit cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and DISCOVER).
